The planned obsolescence of products, especially technological devices, has been a topic often forgotten by mainstream media. Many devices, especially phones and computers, fail before their owners intend to replace them. Due to a variety of factors such as proprietary parts or impossible to open enclosures, these devices which can often be revived with a simple fix must be disposed of and replaced.
iFixit, a manufacturer of consumer precision tools, wishes to spread awareness of the Right to Repair movement. This student campaign, utilizing original photography, seeks to visualize what happens to devices and inform on how repair is a positive for everyone,
